Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sega have announced that PlayStation Plus members will be able to play the entire Yakuza franchise this year.
It kicks off in August when Yakuza: Like a Dragon joins the PlayStation Plus Essential tier as part of the monthly games’ lineup. Then later in August, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will gain access to Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
Later this year, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will gain access to Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. Here is the exact breakdown of which games each tier will get:
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon – PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, Premium
- Yakuza 0 – PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium
- Yakuza Kiwami – PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium
- Yakuza Kiwami 2 – PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium
- Yakuza 6: The Song of Life – PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium
- Yakuza 3 Remastered – PlayStation Plus Premium
- Yakuza 4 Remastered – PlayStation Plus Premium
- Yakuza 5 Remastered – PlayStation Plus Premium
