Microids and developer Virtuallyz Gaming have announced that Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR will launch on PlayStation VR2, Quest 2, and PICO 4 on June 22.
The rail shooter was originally created and published by TAITO in 1987 and this new VR version is a faithful remake of the original game but improved with a new artistic direction. A non-VR version is also on the way and will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this fall. You can learn more about the game below.
In its solo VR campaign, play as a special agent fighting a new criminal organization. In addition to arms and drug trafficking, the organization, led by the mysterious General Viper, has developed a powerful new weapon. After discovering several of its bases, you will be sent to dismantle the organization, destroy the weapon and free the hostages held captive in surrounding camps.
