Xbox and AMD Announce Multi-Year Partnership for Multiple Devices Including Next-Generation Xbox

Microsoft has announced that they have entered into a multi-year partnership with AMD to co-engineer silicon for a range of devices, including the next-generation Xbox home consoles.

The news was announced in a short video with Xbox President Sarah Bond that you can view below. There isn’t a ton to learn from it but it does confirm that there will be another Xbox (I don’t see why this was ever doubted) and that it appears that a range of storefronts will be accessible on it including Windows, Steam, etc. Play Anywhere will also mean you’ll be able to play your game on console, PC, cloud, handheld, etc.
