Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new video featuring Mark Cerny and senior vice president and general manager of computing and graphics at AMD Jack Huynh discussing their collaboration on future technology.
In the video, Cerny and Huynh talk about three gaming breakthroughs that will lead to benefits for the game industry in the future such as Neural Arrays, Radiance Cores, and Universal Compression. Cerny even says that while these things only exist in simulation right now, he is excited to bring them to a “future console in a few years time.” This very clearly hints that the PlayStation 6 is still a few years away and will likely feature these new features.
