Rockstar Games has finally confirmed the price for Grand Theft Auto VI and as expected it’s a bit higher than most other games on the market.
Pre-orders open at midnight local time on June 25 with the standard edition retailing for $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition retailing for $99.99. That version will contain an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story.
The game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 19 as a single player experience. No mention of GTA Online has been made. Pre-ordering any version before November 20 will get you the Vintage Vice City Pack which contains items that flash back to when neon burned brightest.
The bad news is that physical buyers won’t get a disc with their purchase. Instead, the retail edition will be a download code in the box and will launch on November 12 to support pre-loading. The digital version will be available to pre-load on that same day.
